Olga Smirnova is a Ukrainian illustrator based in Barcelona. For more than ten years, she has been working as a children’s book illustrator, creating artwork for over twenty books for Ukrainian and international publishers, as well as interactive spreads for children’s magazines. In her work, Olga enjoys combining handmade textures with digital illustration, often using collage techniques to create a warm, playful, handcrafted feeling. She loves drawing funny and cute characters, building magical worlds, finding inspiration in Ukrainian naïve and folk art, everyday life, and the observation of people, nature, and architecture.
